Toyota Avensis New Toyota Avensis makes its world debut at the 2011 Frankfurt Motor Show. The new Toyota builds on spaciousness, functionality and fuel efficiency of the current, third generation model.


It has a bolder and more refined exterior styling and interior enhancements finish quality, comfort and noise, vibration and harshness ( NVH ). Driving dynamics have improved, and a revised quality structure provides even greater value for money. The best -selling version of the Toyota Avensis ‘ six engine line-up, a 2.0 D- 4D turbo diesel has been revised to deliver significant improvements in fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. With a tax threshold of 120 g / km for nearly a third of European countries, 2.0 D- 4D is 119 g / km gives generous tax advantages for both private and fleet buyers. With a choice of two body styles, three diesel and three petrol engines, three transmissions and four model grades, the new Avensis has been tailored to the European market.



D- segment shows a 70 % focus on diesel powertrains, a 64 % bias in favor of fleet sales and a preference for the wagon body style with over 50 % of customers. Designed, developed and built in Europe, it was the Toyota Avensis was first launched in late 1997 and has since established itself firmly in the European D- segment. It sold 70,585 units across the region in 2010, representing a 5.8% segment share. 2012 Toyota Avensis Exterior Design – elegance and style Though the overall dimensions of both sedan and wagon versions of the vehicle remains unchanged, the new Avensis has been thoroughly refurbished to give it a more sleek and athletic appearance. A bolder, more refined frontal treatment features the distinctive new face for the next generation of the Toyota family.


The key to the new design direction is a change in the relationship between the upper and lower grilles, with emphasis now on expanding the latter for a more assertive, dynamic look. Under the brand Toyota Avensis ‘ clamshell ‘ hood, is a new, broader and more powerful grille design flanked by narrower, more expressive headlamps, with its emphasis on the slim, elegant proportions of the new styling. The new headlights now incorporate driving lights.
